I have learned the power of being a female, just the natural spirit most women have is strong. Once you really know who you are and embrace that power, its a really special gift. Kim Azar took an unconventional path to her role as co-owner of Azar Family Brands.
Kim began a 10-year career in cosmetics working for Estée Lauder. She eventually managed a six-state territory for Lancaster Brands, as well as managed regional accounts for Chanel. After spending a few years at home with her children, Kim began a second 12-year career selling high-end real estate. With two successful careers under her belt, Kim shifted her focus -- together with her husband Trey, they founded Azar Family Brands. They developed Cinco Vodka in 2009, and in 2016, the Azars introduced a second craft spirit to the market, Seersucker Southern Style Gin. They have since expanded their portfolio to include Seersucker Southern Style Lemonade, Limeade and Grapefruit Gin. When Trey and Kim aren’t running the family business, both are active philanthropists and members of the San Antonio community. Kim is an active member of the Junior League, National Charity League and Any Baby Can. They reside in San Antonio Texas with their five children. When not focused on her passion for branding and production, Kim enjoys playing tennis, volunteering at her kids’ schools, and entertaining family and friends. |
