Any time that there is a challenge that I'm approached with, I find a way to grow from that, to learn something from that, and to find something to give forward and be able to share with someone With a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame, Charity was practicing mixed-development architecture in Boston before she relocated to Austin in 2009.
She found her passion for hospitality while working at Sway, where she quickly rose from server to trainer to shift lead over her two-year tenure. She served as service manager at La Condesa for a year, then was given the opportunity to join South Congress Hotel’s opening team in August 2015. For two years, she served as the assistant general manager of Café No Sé and the hotel’s Lobby Bar, in-room dining and banquet programs before joining Il Brutto’s opening team as General Manager. Charity is WSET Level III Certified and enjoys bike rides with her dog, bowling, and cooking for friends. Her spirit food is Spam Musabi, a Hawaiian spin on traditional Japanese omusubi. |
